To best showcase the dress's flowy and draped structure, you should choose the following types of fabrics:

Draping Fabrics: Viscose (Rayon), Tencel, Silk.

Lightweight Woven Fabrics: Crepe, Chiffon, Fine Linen.

Summer Fabrics: Thin Cotton Poplin.

Required Fabric Yardage

(Approximate measurements for fabrics with a 150 cm / 59-inch width.)

Fabric Requirement: Depending on your size, you will need between 270 cm (2.95 yards) and 310 cm (3.4 yards) of fabric.

This pattern covers a wide size range from XS to XL.

How to Measure

• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist (just above the belly button).
• Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 20 cm (8”) below your waistline.

• This chart is based on woven fabrics (non-stretch). For stretchy fabrics, you may size down.
• All Modella Patterns include seam allowance unless otherwise stated.
